Dr. Myles Spar, MD, MPH

Founder
Dr. Spar founded IMA in June 2013 as a result of being given the Leadership Award in Integrative Medicine from the Bravewell Collaborative. He is a practicing Integrative Internist, a clinical faculty member of UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Integrative Medicine. Dr. Spar created and continues to direct the Integrative Medicine Program at the Simms-Mann Health and Wellness Center at Venice Family Clinic, the largest and most comprehensive program of its kind in a community clinic.

Stefanie K. Gluckman, JD

Stefanie K. Gluckman

Development Director
Stefanie Gluckman, trained as a lawyer and economist, has 18 years of experience conducting research, analysis, and program development in the areas of civil rights, health care, and human services. Stefanie has successfully created and directed large projects from concept development and design, through fundraising, implementation, and evaluation. Recognized for leadership and creativity, she has expertise in public interest and policy work and has focused on at­risk or vulnerable populations. Stefanie demonstrates excellence in strategic and innovative thinking and advising, and is particularly adept at bringing together disparate providers, agencies, and stakeholders to solve problems, run programs, and influence policy. Stefanie earned her BA from the University of California at Berkeley in Political Economy of Industrial Societies. She then earned an MA in Economics from Brown University, and a JD from the University of California, Los Angeles. When Stefanie is not working, she is either playing with her lovely family, engaging with art, or plotting her next travel adventure.

Allison Bergson

Allison is studying for her Masters degree in Yoga Studies at Loyola Marymount University. She received her BA from UCLA and has been a yoga teacher and Doula. Her internship centers on helping to build our network of practitioners.

Sandi Chiu, MSOM, Lac

Sandi is the education coordinator at the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine. She received her BS from UCLA and a Masters in Oriental Medicine from Dongguk University.

S.A. Bachman

Active Volunteer
S.A. is an artist, educator and co-founder of two collaboratives: THINKAGAIN and LOUDER THAN WORDS. Her work is in the collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Palacio de Bellas Artes (Mexico City), Center for the Study of Political Graphics, Rose Art Museum, New York Public Library, Glasgow Print Studio (Glasgow), and the Bell Telephone Corporation.
